A Partnership in Care: Kit Man's Enduring Support for the Elderly Blind Community
At Kit Man, we believe true social responsibility is built on lasting relationships and continuous support, not just isolated donations. Our enduring partnership with The Hong Kong Society for the Blind's Yuen Long Home for the Aged Blind is a cherished example of this commitment in action.
Our journey with the Home is marked by a shared goal: to enhance the quality of life for its visually impaired elderly residents. A significant highlight of our collaboration was in 2016, when we provided a dedicated donation to invest in crucial facilities. These funds enabled the purchase of modern equipment for Physiotherapy and Dementia Care--services that are vital for the residents' well-being, mobility, and cognitive health. This project was aimed at creating a more supportive and therapeutic living environment.
The most humbling recognition of our partnership came when the Yuen Long Home for the Aged Blind graciously named two of its rooms in honor of Kitman. This gesture transformed our contribution into a permanent legacy of care.
Seeing the Kitman name on these doors serves as a constant reminder of our deep connection to the Home and its residents. It symbolizes that our support is woven into the fabric of this caring community. This 2016 project is a proud moment in our ongoing story of giving back, and we remain steadfast in our commitment to supporting the vital work of our community partners.
